CODO {Indianapolis, IN}
Toko {Sydney}
This week on Cloud9 we’re in Sydney but with a little outside influence. The multi-talented Toko is the handy work of Dutch designers Eva and Michael who, in 2008, turned sunny side up with a permanent shift to Sydney. Fear not though, the rich European influence is still felt with a wonderfully playful and unexpected approach to design. Tw. @tokodesign
The Consult {Leeds}
Ma-hooosive fans of Leeds brand design buckaneers The Consult. Both muti-published and multi-adorned with an award or three, clients include the BEEB, Converse, Cisco and Prezzo. No two projects look the alike but are each comparably beautiful, typographically awesome and visually epic. Handsome stuff. Tw. @TheConsult
Perky Bros {Nashville, TN}
Sweet work from Nashville’s own Perky Bros. A great blend of good old fashioned finger-lickin’ Americana mixed with the modern twist through their portfolio. The typical typographic stylings you’d expect with lovely, clean layouts combine sweetly. Make sure you find five minutes to jump on over to their […]
Zebra {Perth}
To kick start 2012 here on Cloud 9 we have some tasty southern hemisphere treats offered up by Zebra. Based in Perth, Australia (and Singapore, shhhh), Zebra are all about the three C’s; culture, creativity and craft grounded in the foundations of a strong idea. Tw. @madebyzebra Post by Long White Cloud.
The year of the cloud
Haaaaappy New Year folks! As the feasting and festivities fade into the distance and you ease back to reality, allow us to raise your spirits back to fever pitch. A new year calls for a new feature and as 2012 is apparently the year of the cloud it only seemed appropriate we invited you onto Cloud 9. But there is some method to our tenuous madness; late 2011 saw Designers Journal meet Long White Cloud. Turns […]
Pete Rossi {Glasgow)
Pete Rossi, recently named Art Directors Club Young Gun (in the same class as previously featured Dana Tanamachi) hails from just outside of Glasgow, graduating in ’06 from the Glasgow School of Art. He has since taken his skills from UK to mainland Europe, working in the process for the likes of El Studio, Coast Design and Studio Astrid Stavro amongst others. Nice work, bright future.
