Blending has become the way we most of society consuming their five a day. It seems you just throw everything in and and the tough blades breaks everything down to extract the maximum nutrition from the food. In a way Miklós Kiss has done the same thing. He’s taken all the elements and blended them together to create a simple but nourishing outcome.
Creating a sense of home
A man of seemingly few words, Quim Marin is a super rare talent who skillfully time and time again creates distinctive designs. Quim’s latest work for Wannahost, a home rental and host company based in Costa Brava, sees a typical injection of personality through simple forms. Centred around the messaging ‘Don’t worry, rent happy’ the identity plays with that warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you are comfortable in your surrounds.
Alexey Malina {Moscow}
As the eyes of the world are currently on mother Russia, it only seems appropriate to take a look at what’s going on in the industry in that part of the word. So first up, some very nice projects from Alexey Malina, an studio based in Moscow, working “to create the design which forms visual demand. Michael Freimuth {Brooklyn, NY}
Really love the work by Michael Freimuth ~ art director, designer, illustrator and former ADC Young Gun and winner of ’08 Print Magazine New Visual Artist Award, based in Brooklyn, NY. He has worked as art director at the design agency Tender, in Manhattan, and is currently freelancing for a range of clients.
