Brighton-based printers, Generation Press has always been a printer who stood tall within the industry. Setting a standard for design appreciation, they are leading the way with an innovative approach to sustainable printing. For instance, on a sunny day their in-house Litho presses can solely run on solar power.
Collaboration with design studio, Build, Generation Press have created a rich publication celebrating their eight in-house print processes.
Focusing on how Litho processes can work on different types of papers, colours and textures, the publication demonstrates both agency and printers innovative methods.
Michael C Place, Founder and Creative Director at Build, added:
“The idea behind the design is really about purpose, but it’s also about pride. We designed the series to really show (and test) how good the teams at Generation Press are, with the end goal to create something for people to hold, touch and see the dedication of a team producing the finest print with incredible care and attention to detail.”
“They really take care to understand a project and more often than not find a way to make the end product better than you had dared hope for, and often for less money than you thought! They are not only our secret weapon, they are also our friends, and I have no doubt that these publications will inspire designers and print buyers alike.”
