Matthew Dawson {London}

Illustrators

We’re such a big fan of the charming work by the hand of freelance illustrator Matt Dawson. His clients have included Penguin Books, Nickelodeon and Leapfrog and has just illustrated his first book for the kiddies “There’s a Lion in My Bathroom: Nonsense Poetry for Children”, authored by Giles Paley-Phillips for Rebel Books. Handsomely put by the man himself; “Every project has it’s own special considerations but I generally find you cannot go far wrong if you aim to raise […]

Young London based graphic and sound designer, Joshua Hibbert plies his trade mainly in illustration, type and fashion photography. Gaining his degree at London College of Communication only last year, Joshua specialises in interactive design, developing projects such as emotive furnitures and philosophical soundscapes. Trozo Studio {Los Angeles, CA}

Illustrators

LA based Itallian Eduardo Valdivieso’s Trozo Studio produces stunning mutli-layered wok that is a symphony of colour, texture and complexly constructed commentary. He seemlessly jumps between the conceptual and commercial realisation with unbelievable versatility and detail well worth studying.

Irina Troitskaya {Moscow, Russia}

Great work from Russian illustrator and artist Irina Troitskaya that’s she’s brought to life through a series of characterful Russian dolls. Her portfolio is full of charm and warmth with a twist of wit and cultural heritage. Her work has been commissioned by HP, BMW, Elle, Mamas & Papas among others. Personal favourite is the work for Lonely Elk.

Canadian illustrator and designer Dave Murray‘s splendid brand of illustration has won him clients including Stella Artois and Dandyhorse Magazine. His work has also been featured in The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, The National Post, Canadian House and Home, Benjamin Moore, and 3 x 3 Magazine. Whilst we’ve seen a few great examples of geometric work in the last 12 months (most notably Liam Brazier) there is a wonderful openess and freedom to […]

Miguel Endara {Basle}

Illustrators

Not one to be outdone by any man (least not Chan Hwee Chong) it’s probably fair to say Miguel Endara is an incredibly patient man. The web developer by day, paper poker by night is so patient infact, he’ll invest over 200+ hours and drop his nib 3.2million (yes million) times to get his insane end results. Astounding. Hero from Miguel Endara on Vimeo.

Matthew Lyons {UK}

Illustrators

Stunning illustration from UK based illustrator and man of the moment Matthew Lyons. His work is highly imaginative and full of stunning depth and subtley of colour. He also curates a nice blog of things he finds inspiring here which provides a great insight to where the nuances and style of his work is born.
