Brand Santa

News

Mmmmmerry Christmas one and all! We’re signing off from our maiden year of design inspiration but before we go here’s a yuletide treat from the elves and elvettes over at Quietroom… “There are brands. There are super-brands. And then there’s this brand. You can imagine how cringingly gloatful we were when Santa Claus Global Enterprises invited us to hew from our raw imagination their brand guidelines. Frankly, we wept”. Pete Rossi {Glasgow)

Outstanding individuals

Pete Rossi, recently named Art Directors Club Young Gun (in the same class as previously featured Dana Tanamachi) hails from just outside of Glasgow, graduating in ’06 from the Glasgow School of Art. He has since taken his skills from UK to mainland Europe, working in the process for the likes of El Studio, Coast Design and Studio Astrid Stavro amongst others. Nice work, bright future.

No Days Off {London}

Awesome agencies

Outstanding array and diversity of work from the chaps at No Days Off Associates. Originally founded in 2006, they’ve steadily expanded their operation whilst producing mould-breaking and striking work along the way. They also do a handsome line in take-homes on their shop. Tw. @NoDaysOffStudio

Trebleseven’s TwentyTwelve sets the date

Handily, the calendar also folds into a more handleable five concertina fold (A1 length, shown below) mailer. Printed on GF Smith ColorPlan and available in a handful of colours, this is a really nice […]

Kurppa Hosk {Stockholm}

Awesome agencies

Stunning work from Swedish agency Kurppa Hosk. Gloriously crafted and stripped back type, understated colour and minimal image and iconography all conspire to create a beautifully balanced body of work. Lovely, lovely, lovely… Tw. @kurppahosk RUN-00 from suprb on Vimeo.

Fluonoir {Paris}

Awesome agencies

I’d never been to Paris until earlier this year. It’s beautiful. A merry meander down the Champs-Élysées hand in hand with my betroved, what could be more pleasant? Snap-happy tourists filled Louis Vuitton whilst I eat my body weight in crepés and inadvertently skipped the mammouth queues by finding a side entrance to the Louvre, before later ogling the stunningly bizarre Centre Pompidou. Good trip. Ah Paris… but I digress. However, speaking of Parisian allures, et […]
